The artwork "Bliss" adorns a traffic signal box as part of Artforce Brisbane, a community art initiative empowering local residents to decorate traffic signal boxes across the city. Collaborating with artists Lauren Spriggs and Eliouse Ball, we lovingly painted this beautiful piece.
In the sunlight, the artwork shimmers, thanks to glitter and iridescent star-shaped flakes infused into the sealant. My intention is for these playful sparkles to bring joy to both adults and children who encounter the traffic box at the Rocklea Markets.
